Aloha!

My name is Jaime.

I am a bodyworker, yoga instructor, somatic educator, and reverent lover of nature.

I currently offer bodywork on the island of Kauaʻi, including therapeutic massage, craniosacral therapy, and holistic womb care. In addition, I facilitate in-person and online classes and workshops rooted in somatic embodiment.

I use my presence, words, and touch to support people in physically and energetically landing in their bodies and reconnecting with the intelligence of their own felt sense.

It is through this relationship with presence and felt sense that we have the capacity to shift patterns held in our bodies and our lives. As we transform ourselves, those shifts naturally ripple outward into our relationships and communities.

My 22 years of experience as a yoga instructor and bodyworker have cultivated a refined capacity to observe the body, listen deeply, and perceive and transmit information through my hands.

In 2018–2019, I participated in an in-depth study of Ayurveda with Mary Bastien through David Frawley's Vedic Institute. This experience anchored an embodied understanding of the cyclical rhythms of nature and the ways the qualities of the elements express themselves in the natural world, the body, and the mind.

My path as a yoga instructor and bodyworker naturally expanded into birth work. I studied Ayurvedic postpartum care with Ysha Oaks, completed postpartum doula training through Bastyr University, and spent nine months apprenticing with home-birth midwife Mieko Aoki. I spent seven years supporting women as a birth and postpartum doula. This work taught me about initiation, thresholds, and the wisdom found in liminal spaces.

For the past three years, I have been studying women's nervous systems and trauma resolution with Somatic Experiencing practitioner and sexological bodyworker Kimberly Ann Johnson. This work has continued to deepen my real-world understanding of the nervous system and, in particular, the importance of women having access to a healthy fight response. This capacity is foundational to developing agency, establishing healthy boundaries, and moving toward what they truly want.

All of these threads—yoga, bodywork, Ayurveda, birth work, and nervous system work—weave together in the way I meet each person. I trust that the body holds an inherent intelligence. My work is an invitation to slow down, feel deeply, let your body lead, and return to your embodied knowing.
